Honeycommb Product Update: November 2019

The Honeycommb Team hit the ground running hard in October and we have a lot to show in November. If you’ve updated the latest software update for your network’s app, you’ve already seen the newest update! We’ve also added webhooks, custom fields, and more opportunities to brand your network. Continue reading to find out more behind each new feature.

New: Nav Bar UX

Nav Bar UX

We’ve moved Direct Messages to their own dedicated space in the top right of your home feed in your network’s mobile app. This exposes our DM feature and brings private conversations to the forefront of a user’s mind to encourage member connections.

We also added a button to access the Main Menu in the top left of your home feed. You can still swipe from left to right to reach it but by adding a button will allow new users to understand automatically how to access their settings, search, invite, and any other links you’ve added to your menu.

New: Webhooks

Honeycommb Webhooks

Webhooks are a powerful tool used by marketers and community owners to leverage the events and actions that happen inside the Honeycommb platform with tools and platforms externally. Read More.

New: Admin Custom Fields

Custom Fields

Now available in the Control Center only. Custom Fields are a great tool for storing and sorting more information about your community and creating specified, customized data point about your audience using Honeycommb. Read More.

Reminder: Additional Customization

Custom Domain

Custom Community Domain: Leveraging your existing domain for your community web app is a simple way to further customize your branded network.

Custom Help Center: Take your help experience to a whole new level and customer the Help Site URL in your community. Read More.

These two optional features come at an additional cost but allow for a further custom experience on Honeycommb and expose your brand more. If you’re interested in taking advantage of further branding your network, send an email to your Honeycommb Success Manager.
